UI – Part 278 – The Shrinking Christian Presence in the Middle East  (2 of 2)

Last week we discussed how the population of Christians in the ME is declining and the reason why.  Persecution of Christians is the reason.  Muslims hatred towards Christians (as with Jews) is acted upon using violence to eradicate Christians from the ME, and in all likelihood from the earth (if they can).  It is a fact and one all the world must be aware of.  What to do becomes the question all must address, especially tolerant Muslims.  But will they speak out, or lead a cause against such atrocious and ungodly acts.

Training & Brainwashing – Killing Christians

From an ex-Boko Haram member on killing Christians:

“Our leaders usually psyched us up, they brainwashed us to fight against Christians because they are enemies of Allah. They taught us that the more Christians we were able to kill, the more our chances of entering Alijonan (heaven).”

Also such terrorists were given drink to fortify them:

“we used to drink what one could call spiritual water because it is not ordinary water….Whenever we take the spiritual water, we become more daring to do any evil. It makes us more dangerous and if we were annoyed at such a moment, we could kill. The water also fortifies us against gunshots. When we have taken it, bullets will not harm us.”

One can only image what the ‘drink’ contained.

And the more demonic element was drinking the blood of the victim:

“We usually use guns to shoot people on the leg. If we ask a victim: “Will you become a Muslim or not? And he or she refuses, we slaughter the victim like a goat. And after killing the victim, we collect his or her blood in a very small cup and then drink it. After drinking the blood, the victim’s ghost could not hunt us in dreams. That is what our leaders told us. And indeed, once we taste the blood of people we kill, we will not see them in our dreams.”

As a child in school the education encourages hatred of Christians:

“from the time we attended…school, a lower school in my place, our Islamic instructors had been drumming it into our ears that we should tighten our belts to fight the Christians. They instructed us to always be armed, either with knife or gun.”

They were trained by the Taliban in Afghanistan, financially supported by money flowing from Iran, and Shiites more than Sunni.

A Taste of Reality

This article (Blog Posting) provides only a taste of what is occurring in the ME.  But where there are Muslims there is hatred for Jews and Christians.  If the heart of an individual Muslim is more tolerant and they express themselves accordingly they will find they too are subject to attacks, peer pressure, actions from their community, their cultural base and the scholars who lead and teach that they are not adhering to the interpretation of the Scripture of Islam, the Quran, at least according to the doctrines that have been established over the centuries.  It all depends on the tribe, sect, order of Islam and so much more, none of which is totally unified with each other except as to Muhammad as a self-proclaimed prophet, Allah as god, and the Quran as Scripture – a scripture which few Muslims can understand and which also has many, many different interpretations and views of what it instructs its followers and how they should live.

What seems clear is that over time, the history of Islam, the laws and demands on the people of Islam, have been greatly influenced by the authorities, the conquerors, who have taken charge of those they oversee applying their standards, with an Islamic scholar at their side (Imam, Mullah, Ayatollah, etc.) to provide the spiritual picture.

If there is unity it is to focus their ‘hatred’ on any that disagree, which certainly highlights the plight for Jews and Christians.

The Shrinking Christian ME Base

Yes the numbers prove it.  The statistics show it.  Christians have become a disappearing class in the ME, except for Egypt.  They have left the area, they have been murdered by Muslims, and they remain unprotected and afraid.  Their only defense is their faith in the Risen Lord – Jesus Christ.  They cannot share their faith as the Islamic Laws prevent it.  This is out of fear that the Truth be known, I contend.   If the hand of Satan is not seen in such cruel and mean acts of persecution against Christians, then the world is blind, as are the Muslims who commit such atrocities.   They are compelled to hate.  Does God really command one to ‘hate’ another?  NO. The Biblical God does not.  The two most important commandments involve love, love of God and love of neighbor.  No such love of neighbor is present in the Quran.

God’s example is to love unconditionally.  Allah’s is not to do so.

God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son to die, bearing the punishment for the sins of mankind so those who believe can be saved and found righteous in God’s eyes.  Killing of Jews, Christians, or anyone out of hate encouraged by one they call god, evoking the name of god, as in the form Allahu Akbar, is ungodly – satanic even.  How can anyone see it any other way?  Those that do not are indeed ‘blind to the truth.’
