UI – Part 663 – Anti-Semitism/Islam

There are so few Jews compared to other religions.  Muslims over 1.8 Billion.  Christians over 2 Billion.   Hindus over 1.1 Billion.  Bhuddists over 500 Million. Jews, just around 15 Million (as high as 20 Million with those who affiliate as Jew, not core believers).  With such a small population why are Jews subject to such hatred.  We are quite aware of the disdain Muslims have for Jews.  This has a historical connection to the days of their Prophet Muhammad.  This is a hurdle Muslims cannot overcome which continues to fuel hatred; yet Arabs and Jews and most Muslims are Semitic.  Is it that the Islamists just need persons to hate, which includes all non-Muslims, but ranked in order starting with Jews, then Christians and the all others, as infidels?  From the desert of a 7th century Arabia arose an ideology predicated on hating those who do not agree with the Prophet.  

From jihadwatch.org, (read), “Orthodox Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, who serves as Chief Rabbi of the United Hebrew Congregations of the British Commonwealth, says that he finds it ‘alarming’ that so many Muslims in the United Kingdom are anti-Semitic. But given Islam’s texts, teachings and history, what else did he expect?”  Islam’s history has not wavered in its hatred of Jews.  Even when many of the practices in Islam are a reflection of Judaic ritual, respect for Jews and their history is lacking on the part of Muslims.  The many curriculums in Islamic madrassas and Mosques heavily incorporate hatred towards Jews, Christians as well. Much reflects on Jewish clans in Medina (Yatrib) at the time of the Prophet Muhammad that did not show the respect for Muhammad he desired.  They questioned his biblical references as well as his claim to be the last Prophet.  It is as if the Jews were saying, “We know the Prophets, Muhammad, and you are no Prophet.”  The Jews also found the barbaric practices of raiding caravans and taking action to grow an army for Islam adverse to the original program where Muhammad’s followers and the area Jews could live in harmony in Yatrib. Muhammad turned on his Jewish dissenters, the Banu Qurayza tribe, beheading many of them himself, claiming they betrayed their original pact with Muhammad.   Also initially Muhammad prayed towards Jerusalem, thus respecting the Holy City, until he chose to turn towards Mecca instead. 

For the children of Islam, the Islamic texts are as the milk of hatred towards jews upon which they are nursed daily.

Robert Spencer recently wrote, “The Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).”  This is all direct from the Scripture of Islam, which when read or said by a Non-Muslim is considered Islamophobic. 

Islam is anti-Semitic and believers are taught, compelled, and instructed to hate.

Can there ever be lessons in tolerance introduced to the Muslim world when it comes to Jews and Christians? Will they ever dismiss their hatred an allow churches, even synagogs to be built in their regions? The most common answer is ‘no.’
