We are all sinners. With that everyone would agree. Inherent in the nature of the human is guilt for those sins. How does one erase the guilt? Can it be done while alive, or only upon our death? Who forgives? Does it take confession with a third party that then offers a means to move ahead? Does it take a peace offering, gifts to charities, a sacrifice of a living thing, or martyrdom? Does forgiving others help? If forgiveness is offered by another is the pathway clear to a joyful life? Or do vestiges of the accumulated guilt remain?
Christianity offers a way out of guilt, a solution not based on your works, or what you do, but on Christ’s. Salvation isn’t earned; it’s given. Christ did everything on your behalf. He lived a perfect life and then took upon himself the sins of us all as a sacrifice, dying on the cross. That means you’re free, redeemed. Free to live, free to build, free to serve, free to love. And for those believing in Christ there is joy in life and in death. In life serving Christ and in death being with Christ.
It is the New Testament that was an awakening for the Christian. Christ became the way. It is filled with grace and love and offered everyone. Believe and accept Christ and you will be free. The Bible is a book of love; Love god, Love your fellow man, but beware there are evil forces in the world.
Islam, on the other hand, doesn’t offer redemption; it weaponizes guilt. Instead of providing salvation. Allah exposes you, holds your sins over your head, and threatens you with hellfire and torture in the grave.
The Quran isn’t a book of peace; it’s a book of threats. It bullies Muslims into obedience through fear, humiliation, and punishment. What happens when a Muslim seeks redemption? They try to be better Muslims. They pray, fast, give to charity, go on Hajj (a visit to Mecca and the Kabah), and do everything Allah commands. But it never works. It is never enough. No matter how much a Muslim prays, no matter how much a Muslim tries, the guilt never goes away. Because deep down, every Muslim knows it’s not enough. Allah always demands more. For a Muslim there is no joy in living.
Allah loves those who die fighting against the infidels. That’s not an opinion, it’s in the Quran, Hadith, and every lesson taught to children.
What the Muslim is taught is that killing an infidel is an act of redemption, but dying doing so offers the best outcome, total redemption. There is joy only in death. Sad, but true. “Kill those that do not worship Allah or obey Muhammad.” (Quran 9:29)
The question I proffer is this. Is what Islam offers in any way godly? Is killing an act worthy of redemption? Does it provide satisfaction? A Muslim may only know when they die and the virgins are but non-existent, or hags in the company of Satan. Or is Islam just a scheme to enable zealots for this political ideology to garner power and wealth for themselves and eliminating the opposition? Is Islam but a way of life imposed on subjects who are oppressed, for women enslaved, and subjected to total obedience or death?
It is said there are three great religions. Christianity, Judaism and Islam. What I claim is there are but two great religions. Christianity and Judaism.
Islam is not a religion in any possible way. It is a ruse, a political system, as is communism, structured as the great religions with a scripture and a god and even a champion. It was the champion that provided an example for conquest and control of others, a scripture, more a ‘how to” manual, to guide subsequent leaders and maintain an army, and a god to worship akin to money, sex, self, and power. It deserves no constitutional protections.
