UI – Part 621 – ISLAM – Not a Religion
Mark David Hall comments on freedom of religion, from his book Did America Have a Christian Foundation, “Persecution doesn’t work” (pg. 125). He wrote that ‘persecution creates hypocrisy,’ which was noted by William Penn, a Quaker. It converts no body. Hypocrisy “is quite another thing than Salvation.”
Persecution not Persuasion
Islam has since inception relied on persecution.
Persuasion has never been effective for the Islamist.
In Islam the ‘rights’ of individuals to exercise their conscience is denied. The State often uses the so-called religion as its constitutional basis, thus the rule of law. Vengeance becomes that of man, not of God alone. In Islam man acts as if they are Allah, believing they are God. Civic authorities in Islam make every effort to compel belief. Dissenters are not tolerated. That is fact. There is no liberty of conscience. If there were true religion would flourish.
Religious liberty supposes freedom of conscious. No one will and can constrain the individual from the pursuit of the path of their own choosing. Also the ability to modify, alter or change the direction taken. With the almighty as a guide, the heart, soul and mind as interpreter of inputs from family, culture, peers, libraries, scholars, with ears to hear and eyes to see, the individual is free to decide and choose.
Choice is not the objective of Islam. Apostasy Laws obviate choice. Without choice there is no freedom. Without choice there is no religion. Thus Islam is not a Religion.
Islam – Religion or Not?.
Religion must not be a form of imprisonment. As said before ‘choice’ is essential. God seeks obedience. God may measure the intent or faithfulness of an individual based on their obedience to God. That is not man’s job or role. The sinner does not obey God. This life is not the life God wants you to pursue, but life with him, eternal life, a spiritual life. God makes that possible, but it is up to the individual to choose, to understand, to seek, to see and to obey. The result is living this life for God, thankful for what God has prepared for all of us. We are never forced to obey. Where there is force, coercion, there is no religion.
Because of the coercive nature of Islam, once can readily conclude Islam is not a religion. Muslims are coerced. Muslims are forced to follow. It is not a matter of choice. The mind in Islam is of little consequence. When properly used the mind is to be able to discern, to be aware, to learn and to understand alternatives. The polemic for the religion selected by an individual is one derived via discernment, a gift of God, the ability for humans to know and understand. Islam does not permit discernment. The concern is obvious. When informed, eyes open, ears hearing, Islam does not hold up. Only when forced to memorize, brainwashed to hate, in effect trained to ignore, blinded by the Imams, the Mullahs, the Ayatollahs, the blind leading others into darkness, does Islam succeed. The sword of Islam exists for the purpose of smiting those who bloom as a flower. If sunlight sanitizes their brain of the mold imposed dwelling in the caverns of Islam, then the sun must no longer shine; it must be hidden. Mushrooms are preferred to roses.
Freedom and Temptations
Freedom is not without temptations. Such temptations cannot be eradicated. Man is weak and subject to sin. It is our Adam & Eve complex. We live in a world raining sin, as acid rain pits the finish on an automobile, we are pitted with sweets, pleasures, liquors, and material elements. We are challenged. How we deal with that which we confront is our decision. We learn from our environment, our peers, our libraries, our educators, our ministers, and our own ability to understand, freely.
God is omniscient. Man is not to carry out God’s punishment. God will in his time. He is the judge. Islamists want to act as Allah, their god, for their god, as if they are god. That is blasphemous on the surface. That is not man’s job. Acting for the common good, yes, but not for God. We must prepare ourselves for God’s punishment. How we live is a determinant. And we are born with a sin nature, part of our DNA. I know that is not what the Islamists believe. They do not believe in Original Sin, yet show me one pure Muslim.
Worshipping God, or not, is as your conscious dictates. That is freedom. God sent his Son, Jesus, to set us free. It was George Mason, in VA, that wrote, “religion…can be governed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence….” Religions, those considered religious in their only right, must be tolerant of “the exercise of religion according to the dictates of conscience, unpunished and unrestrained….”
Judge for yourself. Freely, according to the full persuasion of your mind, without concern for injury from others, and without grievances towards others to do them harm. That makes sense to me, but is not along to be spoken in Islam. To judge is to think, which to think is haram (sin), punishable, in some cases, by death. Such is apostasy.
Doctrine Standing Up
A religion that can withstand attacks on its doctrines, not militarily, but via discussion, criticism, and debate, objectively, and survive, even prevail, shows others the value it offers. If it can maintain itself, its doctrines even when doubted, once explored, and grow, it shows excellence. Love rises to the top. The Bible has much to offer. It is the Word of God. Listen and you hear God. Know too, as explained, the Word is Christ, from Genesis and the Book of John. From creation to the present, the Word is God. Dig into that concept. Dig deep. What you will find is Salvation. You will not be threatened except by those who find the truth threatening.
Islam fears God, is troubled by the truth, and forcibly thwarts Christianity. The Cross is to ISLAM as sunlight and the cross is to the mythical vampire. When reading the Quran, it is not the words of Allah being shared, but commanded, dictated, and enforced. Such is the nature of the Muslim debater, more one to shout, to be louder than the other, insisting on their righteousness by not hearing others. An Islamist really has no need for ears. Men who call them selves Muslims, the Islamists and Jihadists, by their own interpretation, place themselves on the throne of Allah, Muhammad the exemplar, and command and commit chastisement in all manner. It is ungodly, inhumane, intensely masochistic, male-dominant and sans reason. The doctrine does not hold up under scrutiny.
Dig into the Quran. You find calls to fight those who choose alternatives, those who embrace freedom, and those who think. It cannot stand without being a bully.
Legitimacy
“What legitimate religion would demand that its members either kill or convert people of other faiths? What legitimate religion is intent on imposing its own laws on the rest of the entire world? What government is legitimate if it compels its citizens to worship as only it decides? If Islam were just about praying to Allah and worshiping Mohammed and nothing more, we would not be having a problem with Islamism, jihadism, and Islamic terrorists. Islam has a global mission to take over and run the world according to Islamic Shariah law. How can we call that a religion?” Read more – goto – (https://canadafreepress.com/article/islam-is-not-a-religion-it-is-foreign-law). This referenced article concludes, “Muslim worship is protected under the First Amendment, Islamic law is not. Until Muslims – and our own government – can accept that, then Islam cannot be considered a religion and Islamic culture does not belong here in America.” I agree.
Romans 8:38-39 – “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
