UI – Part 163 – The Children of Hell
The Word of God
The Word of God is just that. It is God speaking to us. It is not a text written for enjoyment. It is God’s voice as comforter, adviser, lover, punisher, reminder, commander, redeemer and a Father who sacrificed his Son to save mankind. God provides the history of how we became inherently sinful. He shares his frustration, disappointment and plan to restore us all into a place that will be safe and eternal with Him.
Every Biblical Prophet, every True Prophet, told of the coming of the Lord. What did the Last Prophet have to say? If that Last Prophet is considered to be Muhammad, he did not have much to say. He was self-proclaimed in a role designed to control the minds of people, to establish an Arab monotheistic class that would follow as lemmings a military and political leader who may have once believed but was turned as a result of temptations too great to resist. I am saying that a thorough study of the prophethood of Muhammad leads one to conclude he was a false teacher. He may have had good intentions at the start, but was never able to be transformed from a sinful person into a believer right with God.
To Hear God – Be Exposed to the Word
To hear God you must be exposed. Knowing the Bible exists in not enough. You need to enter the kingdom thru its pages and experience the world that awaits. You must be willing to open your mind to what He has to say.
The Children of Hell are those never exposed to the Word. It is not the Scripture of the Quran. It is not the Book of Mormon. It is only the Word of God – The Bible. Seeing, reading, hearing and understanding the Word is essential to have the opportunity to be saved from your sinful nature. The roots to salvation, the history behind it all, is presented in the Word of God and has been used by Muslim and Mormon, among others, to establish their modified (some wrongly say corrected) belief for their purposes, not God’s. The Bible has not been lost in establishing ideologies as the creation story is trusted as truth. Then what is to follow is either accepted and embraced or altered for the purposes of man. Alterations, lack of acceptance, denial were all foretold in the Bible; God speaking of what man can accomplish if left to his own devices.
If you think I am saying that if you do not hear the Word of God from the Bible that salvation is not possible, all that remains is Hell, then you are close.
God may be merciful and kind but he cannot save a sinner without sacrifice and repentance. Salvation is only possible when hearing, knowing and accepting the good news. The sacrifice has been made for you and me. Punishment for our sins has been meted. God’s promise was to make salvation possible. He provided the Savior.
Bad News
Just think about it. You know you sin. I know I sin. Just one sin is sufficient to close the doors to the gates of heaven. No matter how much good you do it cannot offset your sin or sinful nature. That is bad news indeed – it is The Bad News.
It is bad news for Jew, Muslim, Mormon, Christian, Pentecostal, Hindu. Buddhist, pagan, Wiccan, Secularist, humanist, liberal socialist, conservative, progressive and so on. Everyone is a potential Child of Hell.
Good News
This is where the good news comes in. Jesus Christ is the good news in his life, perfect and never acquiesced to temptation, death and resurrection; the perfect lamb for sacrifice. We must repent for our sins, expiate, but through him our sin is atoned and sinners are reconciled – made right again with God. Our hope for our salvation is in the resurrection that awaits us all, all who believe in Christ.
The good news must be told, be sung, be heralded, preached to all who can hear.
It makes me sad and empty for those that have never heard the good news and may never hear the good news. My heart even cries out in great pain for those who are precluded from, prevented from, instructed to avoid, exposure to the gospel. The wall between them and learning the saving grace of the Lord is erected by the Father of Lies (Satan), by those that prefer denial over acceptance, darkness over light.
Gain Access – Get Exposed – Be Exposed
If you know you may be among the Children of Hell and can access a Bible, or person to share God’s Word with you, do so today. You are being chosen. Crawl if you must, duck the bullets, walk, even run to God’s Word and hear what he has done for you. If you know of someone that has not been exposed, share with them, tell them the good news, give them the opportunity to be saved.
You need to believe the Savior to be saved.
Believe the Gospel of Grace and be Righteous before God.
Romans 5:1 – Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 1:16-17 – I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile (all people, incl. Arab, etc.). For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written, ‘The righteous will live by faith.’
Messengers
Why are there those who evangelize? It is to spread the Word of God, the good news to everyone possible. It was the call of Jesus to his apostles to “go and make disciples of all nations”, spread the word, share the good news and welcome everyone into the kingdom. They must hear to be saved.
Romans 10:14-17– How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’ But not all Israelite (or Gentile) accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, ‘Lord, who has believed our message?’ Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
I pray this message may be useful to all who read it. However the more important message is the Word of God.
Grace and Peace,
