UI – Part 189 – Al Qaeda/Mali – I of II
Do we really know Al Qaeda? What are they up to? What is their purpose? Who are they? What do they believe? Are they legitimate? Do they know themselves?
Mali
Taking over the Country of Mali, establishing their cache of military destructive stuff, training militants, and digging in, literally, Al Qaeda is preparing for a siege – their true objective unknown, confusing at best.

The location of Mali is critical. From Wikipedia: “Mali, officially the Republic of Mali (French: République du Mali…), is a landlocked country in West Africa. Mali is bordered by Algeria on the north, Niger on the east, Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire on the south, Guinea on the south-west, and Senegal and Mauritania on the west. Its size is just over 1,240,000 square kilometres (480,000 sq. mi) with a population of 14.5 million. Its capital is Bamako. Mali consists of eight regions and its borders on the north reach deep into the middle of the Sahara, while the country’s southern part, where the majority of inhabitants live, features the Niger and Sénégal rivers.” AQ is taking up residence in the less populated northern areas of Mali.
Is Al Qaeda about to establish its own independent nation in Mali, beginning in Northern Mali. They did not succeed in Afghanistan or Yemen. They have stolen millions of dollars’ worth of valuable construction equipment to dig into the earth beneath the agricultural lands of Mali to create many rooms for stores of fuel, munitions, to include missiles obtained in Libya, and housing for members of the forces engaged in their war under the black banner of Al Qaeda. Brainwashed with hatred for the West and anything Free, as to freedom, they perpetrate a cause that can only be labeled as destruction. It is not Godly! They call it Islam. With words that could be limited to Allahu Akbar only, these fundamentalist Islamic troops are conditioned for mass destruction, innocents to be included, in the name of Allah. The territories for their bombings, shootings, and targets have no boundaries. The Black banner they wave in the Flag of Hatred.
Black Flag
The Shahada in white on a Black background may have evolved from a plain Black Flag carried by Muhammad and his band of brothers, used subsequently by conquering successor Caliphs as they expanded and took advantage of the foundation against freedom of non-believers in the call of the Prophet. Al Qaeda is reaching its arms and hands into the 7th century using modern weapons while denying, resisting and fighting modernity. It is a bizarre contrast with reality all conditioned by Islamists bellowing blind obedience to a god, self-proclaimed prophet and scripture prepared by militant men. The first verse in the Quran does not mention the Prophet; it is the Prayer of the Muslim, the repetitious and daily mantra to be said as a proclamation of faith. The Shahada alters that to include the mortal Muhammad elevating him to the status of idol worship.
Sura 1 (Al-Fatihah): “Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, The Beneficent, the Merciful, Master of the day of Requital. Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. Guide us on the right path, the path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favours; Not those upon whom wrath is brought down, nor those who go astray.” Note: no mention of the Prophet.
Shahada: “There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” This is to be said with sincerity, without doubt in Islam, ‘perfect knowledge’, submission to certain requirements (to include blind faith in Islam) and to follow or emulate Muhammad.
The question that arises concerns Muhammad’s introduction of self into the scripture and his elevation to be revered. Did that come later, after his departure from Mecca? After his arrival in Medina? Is it, and this may sound negative but it is an element of doubt, a reflection of the status he attained and then took advantage of to grow his army of followers. Certainly after Muhammad’s death (632AD) the successors began an imperialistic spread of the power of the black flag and sword through conquest and development of laws. The laws were to establish boundaries for those subsequently under the authority of the caliphs and to express thanks for what the Caliphs believed were made possible and justified by Allah.
Returning to the Flag of Al Qaeda – it appears to be an attempt to reflect back on the days of Muhammad. It is black and reflects more on the black hearts of those who kill for reasons that lack proper definition or understanding. They are not Godly people.
Algeria
To the north of Mail we find Algeria. We also now find out Al Qaeda operatives have kidnapped and killed hostages, with preference for non-Muslims especially Christians and Americans, to be used to demand freedom for the Blind Sheik, a symbol of the worst of Islam in action. Their retribution if their demands are not met is to kill the captives. Where is America’s President Obama? He is on a political personal platform perpetuating polemics for his own agenda. Few really understand what that agenda is except the term ‘redistribution’ seems most applicable. Eliminating the abusive forces acting in the name of Allah is not a priority. He wants to pull-out and not enter the fray. Is he suggesting Al Qaeda ‘have at it’? Muslim fundamentalists ‘have at it’? Egyptian President Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood ‘have at it’? He is not a fighter, except in the political arena. This is where we need to eradicate weapons of the destruction of masses. Gun control, as he has recommended at the Federal level will do little to curb violence. It will do more to harm the innocents. He continues to remove the protections of freedom. But thanks to the French!!!
Obama before the November election and the killing of the Ambassador in Libya said that ‘Al Qaeda is on the run.’ Is he disillusioned or just enjoying rhetoric that he prefers, as if in a reality bubble of his own. Now we have Mali and Algeria. His Military Chief uses the term ‘terrorist’, but not the President.
By the way – thus far – 3 dead Americans (Total Hostages dead – 37)
Vive La France
The French see Mali as a Country they have a responsibility to protect. They have more than noted the encroachment by Al Qaeda and have acted. Their military forces have surrounded small towns in Mali where insurgent Al Qaeda members have gathered. They are blocking roads to larger cities to prevent Al Qaeda members from infiltrating and doing more harm. The presence of Al Qaeda does more harm than good, and they do it saying Allah is on their side. Their god, the one they call Allah is clearly more Satan than god. Where are the Muslims, the voice of the majority? If not heard we can only assume they support the actions of this devil incensed, insane, induced and determined disparate collection of operatives for a senseless cause. It is not for peace. It is not for love of mankind or neighbour. It is to hear the guns bark, the bombs explode and their proclamations of hatred heard.
France once a colonial ruler in Mali today is viewed with indifference, while the Western influence has grown. Yet it was France that first found a need to come to the aide of this country attempting to modernize and become a productive member of the world societies. France sees the need to STOP AQ.
Dire Straits
All humans must know the dire straits they are in if Al Qaeda and Islamists worldwide are allowed to spread their hatred for non-believers. They call it a Holy War; that is their jihad. Are we to sit back and not resist? The only thing holy about what Al Qaeda is doing is Holy Hell. They and their peers, their supporters and those that are happy for their claims must be collectively brought to justice as fomenters of hatred, killers of innocents and satanic forces.
To Be Continued………………………….(UI – Part 190) next week. More on ‘jihad.’
Grace and Peace.
