John Brennan, President Obama’s counterterrorism czar, on May 27, 2010 announced that our enemy is not Islamists or Jihadists.  I do not know whether this is a reflection of his lack of understanding of Islam, the doctrines clearly outlined in the Quran, or simply him speaking for the President and saying words he does not fully appreciate or comprehend.  As the counterterrorism czar, or any czar, he is not protecting America by lowering the barriers to the knowledge we need to properly defend ourselves.  I have been blogging about Islam and during the process learned a great deal.  Islam cannot be isolated as a religion; simply put it is an ideology that is designed to control the minds of those they call Muslims, many of whom are fearful of calling themselves anything else, let alone advancing another, more loving and peaceful religion.

John Brennan: “We No Longer Use The Terms Islamist or Jihadist.”  Well I guess now we have an official “explanation.” This regime had refused to use the term Jihadist, or “Islamic Extremist” over the past 4 terror attacks/attempts (Fort Hood, Arkansas, Christmas Day and Times Square.) Today John Brennan made it official. Brennan also said:  “Nor do we describe our enemy as ‘jihadists’ or ‘Islamists’ because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one’s community, and there is nothing holy or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women and children.”

Isn’t it great? The Obama regime is now saying jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam.

A quote from Raymond Ibrihim from his presentation to Congress in 2009 – “The greatest hurdle Americans need to get over in order to properly respond to the growing threat of radical Islam is purely intellectual in nature; specifically, it is epistemological, and revolves around the abstract realm of ‘knowledge.’ Before attempting to formulate a long-term strategy to counter radical Islam, Americans must first and foremost understand Islam, particularly its laws and doctrines, the same way Muslims understand it—without giving it undue Western (liberal) interpretations. This is apparently not as simple as expected: all peoples of whatever civilizations and religions tend to assume that other peoples more or less share in their worldview, which they assume is objective, including notions of right and wrong, good and bad. …. [T]he secular, Western experience has been such that people respond with violence primarily when they feel they are politically, economically, or socially oppressed. While true that many non-Western peoples may fit into this paradigm, the fact is, the ideologies of radical Islam have the intrinsic capacity to prompt Muslims to violence and intolerance vis-à-vis the ‘other,’ irrespective of grievances…. Being able to understand all this, being able to appreciate it without any conceptual or intellectual constraints is paramount for Americans to truly understand the nature of the enemy and his ultimate goals.”  Based on this quote it is clear that neither congress nor Mr. Brennan were listening (or cared).

Call it what you will the Quran specifically addresses Muslims taking up the cause for Allah by eliminating non-Muslim believers.  In the Quran they call it Jihad, so that is what I will call it.  I do not know the book that Brennan is reading unless it came from the Obama Administration.  The Obama book of diplomacy is to apparently do nothing (unless you call his form of verbal diplomacy successful to date), to support and accept Islam, and to be PC to an extreme.  However the PC extreme to which Obama directs his people (of which We are the People) is naive, ill-informed, misguided, and dangerous.  It only emboldens and fuels the fire of the extreme wing of Islam – as they are aware of Obama’s weak nature.  They have successfully ‘deceived’  him, as the Quran recommends for all Muslims (to deceive non-believers). Deception is OKay with Allah if it is to support the cause of Islam, and it has worked.  Those being harmed are Americans as a whole (many European nations as well).  We need a  President (and Obama has proven it is not him) that understands Islam and its threat to America, and to freedom.  We need an informed America (and Europe – all democratic nations), a populace that understands Islam; makes the effort to become informed.  So doing all will understand the claims I have been making in my many blogs.  To know is to understand the violent nature of Islam.

Qur’an (9:3) – “…Allah and His Messenger are free from liability to the idolaters…”  The dissolution of oaths with the pagans who remained at Mecca following its capture.  They did nothing wrong, but were evicted anyway.

Then there is the Islamic doctrine of taqiyya, which both permits and encourages Muslims to lie to infidels if and when so doing advances Islam. (blog – Part 28 – Tariq Ramadan and Lying)

The verses: 8:39 – And fight with them (non-believers) until there is no more persecution, and all religions are for Allah….; 9:5 – …slay the idolaters, wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush….; 9:29 – Fight those who believe not in Allah….until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. (from Blog – Part 30 – Islamaphobia).    Call this as you will, but Jihad, the struggle, is a proper application in my book.  If not Jihad, simply accept it for what is says.  “Fight them (non-believers) until…all…are for Allah”.  Call it ‘war’ then, and the Muslim terrorists are its army. The ‘moderates’ will be recruited or subject to punishment as non-true-Muslims. 

Know this – there is much to fear for all who are not Muslim.  Share this with friends.  When you are speaking with a Muslim know too they may be lying, as they are allowed.  How can you ever know they are telling the truth?  How, just how, when the Quran expressly tells them to lie – to deceive – to do this for Islam.  If they say they are telling the truth you should always be suspicious, as you can never, never ever, know.  It would be nice to know your Muslim friends are truthful, even the Muslims on TV discussing the peaceful nature of their faith, or that the Mega-Mosque at the 911 WTC site is to remember this tragedy, but all those claims may well be lies, and can be.  There is no doubt the spoken words of Muslim leaders, spokespersons, use the ‘doctrine of taqiyya.’  Read the Quran and know that all Muslims can lie at any time, whenever, to a non-Muslim.  It is part of their ideology.  The Mega-Mosque in NYC at the WTC site may well be a tribute to Islamic Terrorists and a reminder to all Islamists and Jihadists of a major conquest, a major defeat, a major accomplishment of Islam’s ‘struggle’ against the West, and what can be achieved against non-Muslim-believers. 

Is Obama becoming part of the confusion?  Is he adding to the confusion?  Is he hiding from reality?  Does he understand  the problem?  Do his advisors understand Islam?  I do not believe he is Muslim (I do not know either), but I believe he was not raised in a religious family, nor does he share any religious beliefs.  He is a secularist.  He is liberal.  He does not see people doing for others what the government can do for others. He does not understand human charity and kindness.   He uses Government as his personal charity; lacking charity personally (similar to Biden).  He thinks all can be well without controversy; lacking a will to fight for what is right.  Every now and them when our peace and security is threatened we must resist.  Islam threatens freedom.  Islam threatens peace and our security has been compromised on many occasions (more than threatened), threats continue, all have come from Muslims, so how can we not resist. 

Muslims in all democracies must be turned away.  Those that are ‘moderate’ must yield to a religion that reflects their views, if and as necessary (if they are brave enough).  It cannot be Islam as the Quran itself denies their posture, their ideals of tolerance and their willingness, verbally (remember ‘deception’), to live as neighbors to people of other religions. 

We must pray for freedom, for the defense of America and all nations that embrace liberty and freedom.  All free nations, their people, must on their own stand up for free people and raise barriers, as necessary, to the creeping threat of Islamic Ideolotry, the Islamists and the Jihadists in their midst.  “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17).  God is on the side of all people; Allah is not.  And certainly those within the grips of Muslim controlled areas must, if they have any objectivity at all, find a new path for their faith.
